MOAR WINGS. *slapped* As much as I hate them, I draw them more.. strange, right? Aw well, this was another music-inspired piece. This time the song was "My Saving Grace" by Armor For sleep, (Again, thanks much to =ArthurRoyalKnight to sending them to me! >w< ) which is a really beautiful song, it was so inspiring and ffff. ;w; The line that made me draw wings (again. Haha) was "I thought you were an angel, I guess you were a vulture. Either way spread your wing and fly away." And that gave me the idea for the one white and one black wing, I really like it. :)

I also tried out some different coloring (Happy, KK? xD)! I tried to do something a little.. softer, yet still cell shading, so tell me what you think~ I especially love how I colored the eyes! x3 And I realize I didn't give James his bracelets, or put the DC sign on his shirt, but I thought that'd kinda take away from the picture's mood, so I just left them out. lol

And I know I shouldn't be online right now, but I really wanted to finish and post this! xD; I probably won't be online past tomorrow till I'm home. lol

I really think you deserve a feedback of this kind again so here I go:

When I saw the pic for the first time it remembered me to a true artist style, Idk how to exactly describe it... but something you can find in Art Gallery in a Exposition and know it was drawn by an Artist. So yea, I really loved the style, overall how James' face came up. :nod:

Besides of that, the concept, as I told you before, is pretty good itself, the song you used as a background reference was a great choice. You really knew how to put it on. :aww:

Talking about the technique, I like how the soft colouring came up, I think you should try this style more often, I really like it!

So the only advices I could give you are to the keep and eye on those hands and wings (I still even don't who to draw them correctly but I try my best ^^;) but I'm sure you'll improve on them very soon anyway. :peace:

James looks so freakin' innocent, and yet mysterious in this picture, all at the same time, >w<

Careful with the hands, though, they are quite tricky, too. Just saying :D

Yeah, I have a few too. I just drew this while I was sitting on the couch. xD; I know they could've turned out better if I was in a mode, but I kind wasn't. lol ^^;

Well, well, this came up simply amazing Lisa, I really loved the concept, very very nicely done! :dance: Overall due to the music behind this drawing I guess. :aww:

Anyway, you're really improving with those wings, I like them. =]
