Raise your hand if you've seen this:

"Zonic the Hedgehog! Sonic's long lost brother!! He has super speed and is faster than even Sonic and Shadow!!!!"
"Darkness the Fox was born on Space Colony ARK and lost his memory. He has the power to use Chaos Control!"
"Ami the hedgehog is in looooove with Sonic! She'll hit Amy with her big hammer if she gets near him!"

I know I have, and I'm tired of it. Not just the recoloring of the characters, but the lack of an original back story. I mean, come on; it's not that hard, is it? I know there are some people who have had things like this, but they learned. Those who didn't learn, need to. A recolor is not fan art, and it isn't cool.

This came to be from a conversation with ~SerenityXWolf. we were talking about how recolors are getting more recognition than they deserve, and I said what you see on there, and decided to make a stamp. And don't say "BUT YOU RECOLORED HERE!" It's just to get the point across.

This goes for Mary Sues too.
